The 8th Annual, 1st Virtual

一个世界盛会

During 2020, the World Affairs Council of Cincinnati & NKY has managed to pivot to virtual learning opportunities for students and teachers; innovate with virtual exchanges; and move quickly to continue to have monthly webinars with foreign affairs speakers. Despite the uncertainty, we remain committed to serving our community and helping to diminish boundaries. 我们曾在 5,000 students in 2020 with some in-person, mostly online learning opportunities.

In 2021, in whatever way we can safely accomplish it, the Council is going to continue creating international connections, raising awareness on imperative global topics, and developing empathy within students through creating an online learning platform.

We are excited to bring to you the eighth annual 一个世界盛会, first virtual experience in 2021. 作为我们的 only fundraiser during the year, we need your support to continue increasing students’ global skills for our world.

Play your part in these highly anticipated events that support ongoing educational and cultural programs designed to help students in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky live, 工作, and lead globally.

Though I only joined this year, I've loved having so many opportunities to learn more about global issues from people directly involved. It has opened my eyes to so many issues and nuances that I would have had no idea about. It is tough to know what information is real anymore, but the people I've met and presentations I've seen give first-hand commentary which is truly fascinating.”
